Meet our four legged friends. For some of them we are their only family and for some one them we are just one of many families. We take care for about 50-70 dogs, part of them are in the Shelter and the rest are in temporary homes. We take care about the weak, work with frightened or traumatized, and prepare them for their Forever homes. For the once too old and unwanted SNOOPY is the place in which they can live loved and safe untill the very end. All animals in Shelter are microchipped, vaccinated, neutered/spayed and have EU passport.
ADOPT ME
On this page you can read short stories about our dogs. Today they are all happy, but every one of them has a sad story behind them. On some of them physical and emotional scars are still present, but they managed to conquer their rough past and left all traumas behind them. Now they are all on the beggining of their new lifes and they are waiting for their happy end. Most of them don't have Forever homes because they are „too old“, „aren't taught right“, „agressive because of their past“.
Give them a chance and see how much gratefulness and love you can find in an adopted dog.

May was full of work in our shelter. On the very first day of the month, after the vaccinations in April, our puppies Gara and Tio joined us.

We had a great time on that beach "in the middle of nowhere". Maybe because of the weather, or because of friends who joined us :)

Remember our 3 legged, smiling boy? He was dumped in a trash and left to die. But now, he is living his fairytale with beautiful young family. They are smiling together..:)

Of all dogs, they have been through the most lonely winters and hot summers on the concrete floor ... they've survived everything, lot of bad days and a bit of joy, too.

Our babies are making a very good progress. Mila is a wonderful, caring mom. Just look at these little sweeties. :) 5 of them are still waiting for their names..

Only a few months ago, this would be difficult to do with Medo, Terka, Tina and Oliver, because of their fear. Today, we can't be more proud of them!

Useful information
You have decided to adopt one of our residents and give it the home it deserves? No one happier than us. Here are some tips about the procedure of adoption that you have to be aware of.
Financial funds that allows us to work, are provided entirely through donations of the citizens and through response to public competitions. Our assets are unfortunately being spent very quickly, therefore we are very grateful for every help we can get, no matter how small it may be. We also accept help in dog (cat) food, a variety of means against external parasites, old blankets, sheets or items that the animals can use, for example dishes, leashes, etc.
Abandoning, neglection and abuse of animals are punishable by the Animal Protection Act and should be reported to the nearest veterinary inspection.
The animal protection organization “SNOOPY” is a non-profit organization which was founded at the beginning of 2002., and is active in the city of Pula and the surrounding region. Primary mission of the Organization is to suppress animal violence and abandonment, which presents a serious social problem in the Republic of Croatia.
