UPDATE:
Our Rocky find his happiness with us in the shelter, so we decided to keep him and provide him the best possible life. He lives free in his house in front of the shelter so he would be the first dog you can see when you are comming to us. He is still reserved with all people except with his mom Kristina. Rocky is our special boy and Kristina’s little baby. Their relationship is really something special.

Rocky came to us from the horror shelter of the Capica association in Rijeka. He is one of the few to have had a chip implanted. As befits a dog of his age, he is very low maintenance. He is exceptionally timid, but it is clear that he wants a person of his own and cuddles. If he could talk, he’d tell you that nothing good ever happened to him in his entire life, which is why he is so wary of people. Nevertheless he years for someone to put an end to all of his fear, to feel safe cuddled up in his warm doggy bed next to his person. He has made major strides since first coming to us. He asks for so little and offer so much love in return. If someone were to give him a home for the last 2-3 years that he has left, Rocky would be the most thankful dog on the planet. He needs time to get accustomed to the leash, but he doesn’t require long walks or a lot of exercise; a piece of yard would be plenty. Rocky is looking for patient, gentle hands to guide him through life. We’d be very sad if he were to leave this world having never belonged to anyone.
