It was November of 2016 when we got a call for help for Tesa. She was wondering around the street by herself. We have never seen this amount of fear of people. We couldn’t touch her without bloody consequences. It was clear that she wasn’t going to make a progress in the shelter, so we decided to take her in our volunteer’s home for socialization. The first week was the hardest, but already in the second week, the progress was visible. After only 1 month she stopped treating people like enemies, she started to love walks, runing after balls, laying on the couch, all things every happy dog enjoys. One month in happy environment filled with patience and love made the difference, but she will need little more time to start treating us like friends. She is still untrustful, but close relationship take some time to be built. Who knows what she has been through that makes her so much scared. Tesa now lives in the shelter and her progress go slower. She loves company of other animals but still needs time to get close to people. We are searching for people who are willing to work with her and earn her love.
Tesa has 15 kilos, she is vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Thank you Heike Wrobel for sponsoring Tesa! 🙂
